“From Oolong to English Tea, Matcha, Saffron and Ginger, tea comes in many flavours and so do the exquisite knit & crochet projects featured in our new YARN Bookazine 8 Tea Room!”
…and guess what? My newest design “The Soulstorm blanket” is one of the 17 wonderful patterns in this issue. *blush*. I know I repeat myself when I write how honored and privileged i feel. But I can not express my feelings in a better way to be among these extremely talented designers.
I, once again decided to crochet in Scheepjes – Cahlista. The original blanket is made in three colors and we decided that my wonderful testers colorway (Ultramarine/Emerald) matches the topic of “YARN 8 – tea room” much better than the blanket I crocheted.
I often struggle with finding the right name for my designs. Almost every design gets the name of a song that is important to me. This one was easy: Soulstorm. I adore the song of Patrice. I played it a hundred times in different clubs and it always was a floor filler. And in my opinion it matches the mindblowing illusion of my newest blanket just perfectly. Panta Rhei – everything flows. When you listen to the song and when you take a look at the design.

I bought the book just fir your pattern!
I now want to ask you if this pattern would also work well in a wool yarn? If so, what kind and what pky would you recommend. Am thinking to use a bright red and grey colour combo. Cheers, Tessa.
