I was featured in the newest issue of “Inside Crochet”. I have done a few interviews in Swedish but this is the first time i talked about what I do in English so I thought it would be a good idea to post it here too, so you can get a brighter idea of who I am and what I do.
I also wanted to add the articles I did in Sweden. There are a lot of people following my blog who do not understand Swedish. Good thing is, that there are a lot of very good pictures in the article taken where I live and where I work.
So this is my very own show off post.
Have a look:
Inside Crochet Issue 122 / January /2020 (English)
Nationwide Swedish weekly magazine “LAND” / 18 October 2019 (Swedish)
Pictures by Mikael Frisk
Monthly local magazine “ÖP Magasin” / 24 July 2019 (Swedish)
Municipality magazine “BERGSLIV” / June 2019 (Swedish)
I am well aware of that I get quite a lot of attention for what I do. (Especially from outside of our beloved craft bubble). More attention as I deserve to get, compared to the thousands of skilled women in craft. And i want to be crystal clear about one thing: Everything I know about crochet I learned from skilled women. And from books (written by women) and from youtube clips and tutorials (made by women) and in yarn stores (run by women) and from patterns (designed by women). And if I get the possibility to introduce the power and art of crafts to a bigger crowd I will do my best to do so.
Greetings from up North
More to come soon…

Well done Martin. How exciting for you. You are obviously already a good and humble human, so you deserve every bit of exposure and praise you get. Keep up the great work, I love seeing your new works (both crochet and photographic), from the other side of the world in Australia. xx

I can only reiterate what Anne Attard said with the exception that I’m in South Carolina USA. I wish you and your loved ones much health and happiness in 2020, and many enriching and meaningful adventures ❤
