The Scheepjes “LANDSCAPES” Tunisian Crochet Make-a-long: Part IV

Dear good people of the Scheepjes Landscapes Tunisian crochet MAL,

All good things must come to an end, but not without letting you know what joy this experience of a MAL was for me. With pride and honor I watched you choose your inspirations, pick your yarn and colors and witnessed how your beautiful versions of your Landscapes grew. Some of you managed to finished the shawl others did not start yet and that is exactly how it should be. Different colors, different styles, different preferences, different paces united under the flag of crochet, waving strong.

I can not leave you without saying it, one more time: You administrators and mods in the official Scheepjes Facebook groups, translators, testers, participants, Scheepjes Team, fellow crochters… Each and everyone of you is a piece of how this developed into something very special. Thank you for doing this together!

It has come to my ears that some of us are having not the easiest time with the double border or envelope border as it also can be called. Listen my friends: we did use the same technique in the „Get Connected“ MAL that got us connected in the year 2021.

The stitches of the first row will, of course be placed differently and we are using hdc this time. But I hope you get the idea of the border and manage to crochet it easily.

… wait, wait wait… If you really made it to the end of the post, I have a little surprise for you. I actually planned to release a follow up pattern here. But to be honest, I could not make it in time. I am really sorry for that but it will appear here and on Ravelry in the next weeks and it is planned to use the yarn left overs of the Landscape. And even though the pattern is not ready to release yet. A WIP pic can not do too much harm… soon.
