After the wonderful experience of the SCHEEPJES Landscapes MAL, I thought that it would be a good idea to create a follow-up pattern. Of course it took me much longer than expected but I think I found a good way to use the SCHEEPJES SCRUMPTIOUS yarn left overs in and make something that will also level up your Tunisian crochet skills.
So to express myself clearly and summarizes: the “River deep, Mountain high” pattern is a highly adaptable Tunisian crochet pattern, in SCHEEPJES Scrumptious.
The “River Deep, Mountain High” pattern will be available in English and in Dutch and will be released on Ravelry on the 25 of July.
You can order the pattern HERE!

For one week it will be on pre-sale for the reduced price of 3€. From the day of the release and forward the ordinary price will be 5€.
The paid pattern comes as a ready-to-print PDF plus a chart that might help those of us who are visual creators. You also get access to 3 Youtube video tutorials which will help you to understand the technique used in this pattern.
I really had a hard time to find a name for this pattern and the crafty community did a great job leaving comments and suggestions. As most of you know I often try to combine my love for music with my crochet and try to name my patterns after song titles. Regarding that the suggestion „River Deep, Mountain High“ felt just extremely right.

As i said the pattern is totally crochetable with the left over yarn of the Landscape MAL. I did use a color that I had at home and didn’t make it into my personal Landscape color scheme. And of course you basically can use whatever colors you feel for.
Even though the pattern is designed as a wrap, you can basically adapt it to whatever you wish. It totally is a pattern that easily can be used for a full size afghan or a thinner scarf. It all depends on how you want to use it.

If you did not have participate in the Landscape MAL and do not have any leftovers to use, you can buy your Scheepjes yarn at your local yarn shop: Scheepjes Dealers . If you do not have the possibility to buy local, you can order your Scheepjes yarn at Wool Warehouse or Jimmy Beans Wool

The cllours are beautiful. The blues and greens remind me of the waves in the ocean.
