I stumbled over this shawl on Instagram and instantly fell in love. Especially the filet crocheted big honeycombs catched my eye. The pattern is by a spoon full of yarn. It really is one of the best written patterns I have ever seen. Super clear and easy to understand. I chose to crochet it in Scheepjes / stone washed in colours :
- 801 moon stone
- 833 beryl
- 805 blue apatite
- 803 black onyx
- 814 crystal quartz
I do have to admit that nature inspired me a little in my choice of colour. Especially with the yellow and blue part.
I highly recommend this pattern. It is easy to follow the sections and the result is just amazing.
More adventures ahead. More to come soon from up north…

This is gorgeous! I haven’t been able to find Sheepjes yarn that I can purchase here in the US yet.

Oh it looks like there are several stores in the States. I will have to see if they have it available online though. The closest one to me is Mobile, AL and that’s pretty far away. Thanks!

In the US we can get Scheepjes yarns from http://www.woolwarehouse.co.uk/
There are other places to order it, like LoveCrochet, Webs (yarn.com) — but I think Wool Warehouse is ultimately the cheapest, in spite of shipping. Hope this helps!
