Something new…

As the world seems to be in crises and we are facing uncertain times it feels a little odd to write about a new project and the yarn I am going to use. But hey, we have to face this together and keep our heads up high. And maybe one or two of you can enjoy this post in this strange times.

So I have a new idea and I have got some yarn from my friends at SCHEEPJES. It is going to be a two color thingy again. And as i used the Stone Washed  and River Washed  range in earlier projects such as The „Seaweed“ blanket or The Hotel of Bees Shawl I am sure this will work out just fine.

I am planing a bigger and a smaller version of this project. Some might have seen a little preview on my Instagram account. The colors I am going to use for the bigger project are: 801 Moon Stone and 819 New Jade,

For the smaller project I decided to use more vibrant colors: River Washed 942 Steenbras  and 962 Narmade and as the River Washed and the Stone washed range have the same weight (sport, 130m / 50grams), feel free to mix them as you like. Even the fiber content is the same (78% Cotton x 22% Acrylic). The border for my little project will be crocheted in Stone Washed 812 Lemon Quartz.

  1. Wow this is gorgeous! I’ve been in love with Steenbras since I first saw it and have been wanting the perfect project to showcase it. I have a feeling this might the perfect pattern. 😉
