Skulls & Anchors and things

Long time no see, but good things come to those who wait. Seems like after more than two years, I feel (almost) ready to release this pattern.

I wanted to try something new with this motives and tried to write the pattern in a way so you all can choose on your own how to use the different motives. This means also that you have to do a little math if you want to adapt the patterns but it gives you the opportunity to use the motives very freely.

All motives are crocheted in the mosaic technique using Scheepjes Colour Crafter.

There will still be usual patterns that can be crocheted from the first row to the last. These are examples how the motives can be used and they can fully be recreated by using the patterns. A cushion that uses the skull and anchor mosaic motives and a bigger wrap with those 2 motives plus 4 more mosaic charts that are used to create the whole thing.

The cushion pattern includes the skull and the anchor that is also used in the wrap. Everything you need to use those motives will appear very soon here on the blog as a free pattern.

The wrap will be available on Ravely as a ready to print PDF. This paid pattern will also include the cushion pattern, just to have everything together in one place when you spend money on the pattern.

I will leave the material list here just in case you already want to buy your Scheepjes yarn at your local yarn shop: Scheepjes Dealers . If you do not have the possibility to buy local, you can order your Scheepjes yarn at Wool Warehouse or Jimmy Beans Wool

  1. The piece you are working on your lap is absolutely STUNNING and I neeeeeeeed to know how to make it!!! I have so many of your patterns and I love love LOVE the skulls!!! I’m such a girlie gothic at heart – I wear something with skulls on it at least once a week, every week. I truly love the blanket! (Also – I’m so glad you are still designing and creating… I was scared when you announced stepping away awhile back…)

This is just BEAUTIFUL – thank you!!!
