The “Beautiful Noise” SCHEEPJES Make – A – Long

Welcome to the “Beautiful Noise” SCHEEPJES Make – A – Long. I am super excited and super happy that you are here.

It really is a matter to the heart for me to shout out a big, big thank you to each and everyone involved in the process and progression of this pattern. Thank you to all the testers, translators, helping hands and mental support who made all this possible.

I am not going to waste too much time to repeat myself so here are the links to the pattern. The “Beautiful Noise” pattern is available in English, Dutch and Spanish on

RAVELRY HERE

AND

ETSY HERE

The pattern comes with charts, helpful videos and written instructions and will have the reduced price of 5 euro as long as the Make – A -Long is running. After the MAL the pattern will have the regular price of 7 euro. (Please be aware of that different taxes and fees can be added depending on where in the world you are.)

The best feature of this pattern is, of course, that it is released as a Make – A – Long, together with my friends from the Netherlands at SCHEEPJES.

The MAL is going to start today, on the 6th of May and will be running for 4 weeks until the 3rd of June. Official support will be offered in the SCHEEPJES Facebook groups:

Official SCHEEPJES International Group

Official SCHEEPJES Nederlandse Gruep

Those of us who have been taking part in a Scheepjes MAL or CAL already know, that the offical Facebook groups offer massive support from choosing colors to technical questions about the pattern. It is a loving, friendly, inclusive community that will happily guide you through the pattern. At this point I also want to thank all the moderators, administrators and community members at the Facebook groups for supporting the MAL and the pattern.

Do not forget that we all have our own pace and there is no need to follow the schedule of the MAL. The pattern and support will still be available after the MAL.

The “Beautiful Noise” pattern is featuring the Tunisian mosaic technique which I have not used before in one of my patterns. That is why I think it can be a good idea to show you how that technique is done by putting one of the videos that are part of the pattern on the blog too. This will also show you in which way I try to explain tricky parts in this pattern and even how my YouTube tutorials work in general.

The pattern is designed in a style so you can adapt it in many ways. A few of the possibilities have been tested and you can find all the specifications in the ANNOUNCEMNET post HERE.

It is even possible to split the pattern and only use the different parts to create smaller items. For example a cushion. If you decide to make the whole wrap as it is written in the pattern you will have enough rest yarn to make a matching cushion with the parts of the pattern you liked the most and mix up the colors in new combinations.

The cushion sized square in the picture below uses less than 8 gramms of each color in a 2 colored stripe. If you choose to make a stripe in one color you need less than 16 gramms. To complete the starting and finishing stripe you need 7 gramms per side.

I hope you like the “Beautiful Noise” SCHEEPJES Mal and that one of the many possibilities suits your wants and needs.

Scheepjes Yarn can be bought at your local yarn shop: Scheepjes Dealers . If you do not have the possibility to buy local, you can order your Scheepjes yarn at Wool Warehouse or Jimmy Beans Wool

The official hashtags for this MAL are: #ScheepjesMAL #beautifulnoiseMAL #ScheepjesStoneWashed don´t forget to use them when sharing your projets on social media or simply tag @martin_up_north.
